I was thinking the same thing on Sunday, fair play, done his time but i think he should have a bit of respect for the family of the victim.

No it isn't. If you kill people over 70 then its automatically reduced to a manslaughter charge because the victims don't have long left and the time they do have will invariably involve them being a burden to society. Of course you won't find anyone in the government to admit this.

What i meant was, that as a professional footballer, your setting an example to thousands of people, including young children. Drink-Driving is not setting a good example. It should be an honour to be a footballer.

I didn't mean that people who come out of prison, have to live with the burden of their sentence for the rest of their lifes. But Lee Hughes is a professional footballer. I feel that he should not be on the pitch. He had the chance to be a footballer and he blew it by commiting a serious crime.

So all drink-drivers should forfeit that right then or just those involved in fatal accidents? What about those that aren't over the limit but speed?
