They are playing brilliant football, it does make you wonder was Rodgers just the front guy and all the wisdom came from malky Mackay?? cause it sure doesnt seem to have affected them losing players or there manager.

True (although that was Lansbury's most effective game by someway) but its nice to have some loans that work out after recent ones like Hoyte/Bridcutt although Cork was good.

I am sure Rodgers gave our players confidence (although most then have now gone.) and brought in the likes of Don Cowie.

More the middle part...April we were safe and didn't really look that bothered in certain games against sides fighting against relegation (Norwich/Barnsley)

Sheff Wed actually reminded me a bit of us yesterday, they started brightly could've got a goal (and possibly a penalty) then Watford go up the other end score, and pretty much dominate the rest of the match. Had Wednesday scored early could've been a different game, which just goes to show its all about taking your chances!!

Sheff Wed actually reminded me a bit of us yesterday, they started brightly could've got a goal (and possibly a penalty) then Watford go up the other end score, and pretty much dominate the rest of the match. Had Wednesday scored early could've been a different game, which just goes to show its all about taking your chances!!

Yep Wednesday have a distinct lack of spine just like us - thus they got beat by our mighty lads after being ahead last year.

Had a couple of quid on Villa to win, Sidwell single-handedly cost me - he was well off the pace and I found myself shouting at the TV even before he gave away the stupid penalty. Crap anticipation, didn't make himself available for the pass when he was in acres of space time and time again, slow to close opponents down and should have had 1, if not 3 goals. Dreadful.
