I can't hear it!Nobby wrote:There was once a time when away fans had at least a bit of a challenge from the home fans in the south east corner.
Now our fans in that part of the ground seem to have given up even singing. Barnsley and Plymouth fans sang constantly and the response from our lot was.....silence.
Why do you lot bother to sit there? For the number of you who have any intention of singing you'd be better off in the south west corner where you would be closer together and actually make a decent noise.
Failing that you might as well come down near the drummer. At least we sing down the north east corner.
What you mean "COOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEE OOOOOOONNNNNNN RRREEEEEEAAAADDDIIIINNNNNGGGGGG...."Nobby wrote:At least we sing down the north east corner.

You sound like a load of "specials" on a day out.

it was fecking painful. not sure its worth berating the one section of the ground that occasionally comes up with a song.

11 Feb 2010 18:44The acoustics at the madejski are terrific. They just won't be any good if there's only 20 people singig, and they are at the very back of the stand. Besides, how many families do you really see in the stadium? They are a very small minority. The problem is that our fan base, and I'm not excluding myself, tends to need some kind of spark to get going. Oddly, a goal doesn't usually do it, but a bad foul or a sense of injustice over something fires people up.Magnus wrote:TBF, and there's an element of devils advocacy here, if you like making a noise and singing at a football match why do you support a family club who play in an out of town modern stadium famous for it's bad acoustics?
