A promotion?
Did he leave and come back?

Whatever, good luck to him...

Well that's a shock seeing as he's been doing the job since McDermott became manager. At least that's what I'd heard all those months ago.

Listened to Mr Shorey's interview on Reading World and he confirmed Ian Royal's thought that he had been doing the job for a while now anyway. Also said that he scouted our latest left back as he has a bit of knowledge about that position in particular.

He also said that in general he thought that Brian McDermott will be quite happy to go with the squad which ended last season as far as possible but he did say that they had some targets in mind if we should lose any of that squad in the close season.

Don't be silly, I can't know what I'm talking about because I never go to games.

Perhaps if he was to scout games by viewing them with a mirror he might uncover a decent right back as well.

Typical Reading, always appointing the inbred option.

I remember the youth team back circa 1992, it was all m8s of m8s. Luckily this seems to have stopped now that clubs recruit from further a field.

Good to know that BMc seems to share the fears of many supporters that without the quality of Griffin and Khizanishvilli we are unlikely to be anything like the force next season that we were from January onwards this year.
