Central London pub for England game

Any ideas?

I know of the sports bar in Haymarket, Picadilly but sure there are better places. This is kind of my backup pub.

Good atmosphere and good TVs are essential.

Bok Bar on Charing Cross Road (I fink). Castle on tap and big TVs everywhere.

And it's a Saffer bar, so should be World Cupped up to the hilt.

It's on Bedford Street I think, next to Cov Garden. Walkabout, Maple Leaf, Bok Bar - all of them in the area (and all shabby, obviously)

BOK BAR, BEDFORD STREET, COVENT GARDEN

Decided on this in the end. Went to the Red Lion just off Carnaby Street (thanks to AboveTheI but they had no TVs), however the pub was very nice and it seemed a really nice place for a non-football day.

Anyway, BOK bar. Really good atmosphere. Seemed like everyone was your mate, even the doorman, all very friendly. The bar staff danced, and laughed, and smiled and seemed like they were happy to be there. Bumping into people was inevitable as it was packed but it felt close and like a community.

Not all England fans... which made it better. All bottles (3.50 each). All very good.

Toilets were good, alcohol was good, and overall a nice place. No phone signal FYI.

Going to Central London on Wednesday too...

Think I will go to Covent Garden too, with possibility of Staying Overnight somewhere.

Either way, simple option of maybe The Walkabout in Covent Garden.

Weird places. Good ale, ostentatious but decent food, in a fairly standard barnlike looking sports bar.
