I'm not watching, but a little birdie did whisper in my ear that Mallorca were tiring badly from just about the point of Reyes' leveller.

Barcelona have in my opinion had a fantastic summers spending, not least by bringing in Yaya Toure who I expect to become a household name before long.

With regards to Madrid a lot of people don't realise that bringing in Robben is also about freeing up Robinho. He has never lived up to his potential since joining (though was much improved last year) and this should free him up to get back to his best. WIll be interesting to see what happens at the back with Madrid this year, there is a lot of rumours of Ramos (best defender in Europe last season imo) moving to centre back to partner either Cannavaro or Pepe, not sure about that though.

One team I will realy be looking out for is Atletico Madrid. Forever tipped to break into the 4 and forever failing it I do think this year they will. With Torres leaving they had a real shake up and have made some great signings. Reyes, Simao, Forlan, Raul Garcia & Luis Garcia will all be big improvements and Maniche is looking as good as he was under Mourinho.

Will be keeping a close eye on Giuseppe Rossi this season, really dissapointed to see Utd let him go and I think they could well regret it in the future. AC Milan tried to buy him but Villareal offered more Utd accepted it.

Sickening moment in the Sevilla Vs Getafe match just now when Antonio Puerta slowed up, croutched down and then just collaped on the pitch losing contiousness. Players immediately ran to him to try and do something, within about 20-30 seconds he was sat up again. I could feel myself going very pale watching it, for a second I honestly thought it was another Marc Vivien Foé situation.

Aside from that, absolutely cracking game so far, Getafe 0-1 up despite having 2 players sent off

The club have now confirmed that Puerta is on immediate life support in a local hospital having apparently suffered multiple cardiac arrests.
