Apparently the clubs are now in discussion over a compensation package...........so basically Mackay said he'll quit, Watford then have no choice but to allow Cardiffs approach, at least they'll get some money

Signing-on fee, plus promises of money to spend. I think Cardiff's prospects are somewhat brighter than Watford's.

He played longer at Nowich AND he will see this move as a step up..but more pressure.
