Still the best pundit imo. Even yesterday when he said that Saints defender should be off for that tackle and having seen a couple of replays he changed his mind. Majority of pundits just stick to their first opinion even though the replay proves them wrong.sandman wrote:Gary "leg breaker" Neville has lost his pundit mojo since failing at Valencia.

I quite like it that he gave it to a player from the losing side.genome wrote:Bloody hell. Danny Murphy's commentary tonight has been shocking. Condescending and patronising to Huddersfield, constantly making and laughing at his jokes, and then gives MOTM to a midfielder in a team that lost 5-1
Gabbiadini was subbed off with 10 mins left and then 'BIG NAME' player scores the winner...BR2 wrote:I quite like it that he gave it to a player from the losing side.genome wrote:Bloody hell. On Sunday I thought Gabbiadini was a cert for the award having scored 3 goal from open play but whoever was giving the ward gave it to Ibrahimovic who scored just 2 goals, one of which from a free kickthe keeper really should have saved.
Having said all that I do feel that having a man of the match is a bit daft as a concept-something that has crept into our sport over the years and is unnecessary.
That's fine if it's a narrow loss and the winner plays the full match. But they lost 5-1 and he came off at 67 minutes...BR2 wrote: quite like it that he gave it to a player from the losing side.
