U 23’s league season gets underway next Monday evening KO 7pm when they make the long trip to the North East to play Newcastle U23’s. The match is being played at the Blue flames sports ground in Whitley park Newcastle.
Edit the match is BCD- and sadly no sign of NUFC streaming it.

U 18`s season got underway with a 3-1 defeat away to West Ham this morning-Ehibhatiomhan scored the goal.

Was highly rated by the Shrimps even back then.

Should get plenty of practice (Morecambe being ‘expected’ to be relegated) this season.

Gut feeling says it will be between those 2 next season with CBC probably heading out on loan. Much as I like Rafael, we are pretty well stocked with young talent good enough to be #1 at Champ level this time next year.

Both Southwood and Andresson will have had some half decent experience by then. Rafael ooc. It does seem an area we are pretty comfortable and the wages could be better spent elsewhere.
