01 Sep 2024 11:04I had a view from the SJM and calling it an "incident" is being generous.Clyde1998 wrote:I think it's worth mentioning the incident between Reading and Charlton fans in the second half yesterday.
I found it a bit odd there was no netting between the barrier before the game, as there usually is on the Club 1871 side (at the very least).
Couldn't fully work out what was going on from the East Stand, but looked like things being thrown once again. Seems entirely pathetic.
Not sure what the club's actually attempting to do about it though.

01 Sep 2024 14:21It was all pretty pathetic and embarrassing reallywindermereROYAL wrote:I did notice that the segregation gap wasn`t as big as normal, 10 feet at most I would say, Our fans gave it big when we scored and I`m sure their fans would have done exactly the same thing if they had, as the above poster said, you see it to a bigger and lesser degree up and down the country every weekend, it`s no big deal.
A few plastic bottles aren`t hurting anyone. even though they shouldn`t be thrown.
