From a journo and website I've never heard of. Please no; let's hope it's total bollocks.

I'm not sure that many would feel that he" impressed" in his loan spell.
Having said that, Glen Little wasn't very impressive during his loan spell with us but became a fans' favourite after he signed for us permanently.

Keane will be 34 next January and has had 2 ACLs plus a lot of other injuries and , since his youth career at Man Utd, he has averaged approx.23 games per season.
Sounds like just the sort that we might sign, especially as the manager has worked with him previously and he has played at those Northern grounds much loved by LR and to the delight of Couhig there would be no fee.

This is one of my "yeah, fair fucks, you lot are right" red flags.

Welcome to the dark side. In fairness, I don't think it's true.

Don't think he impressed anyone.

As his loan went on he got less and less game time so even Leam saw how poor he was.

Highly unlikely to be true but if it is then we're in for a long painful transfer window

AI must be programmed using the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" method though swap Kev for Leam and/or JJ

The only thing that I could think in his favour is that our style of play totally did not suit him and that with different players around him and the team playing a similar style as adopted by Wigan when they got promoted and WK was their top scorer it could be a completely different picture. You don't go from banging them in like that to being totally useless in a few seasons ... look at how rubbish Billy Sharp looked when on loan to us.

:rolls up sleeves:

I don't think he started off bad at all. That burst of initial games, he was alright and did his goal-poaching well. Had about a month off.

Mansfield, he was pretty abject. I think it was Burton, where we did win, that he started with Patton and both made it clear that they couldn't play either together or at that level.

At least we saw Patton in the matchday squad again.

In your thirties, you do!
look at how rubbish Billy Sharp looked when on loan to us.
I thought there were 'other circumstances' affecting Sharp then?
Might be thinking about Chris Martin.

Chris Martin had ulcerative colitis which manifests itself in symptoms such as chronic fatigue and the overwhelming need to shit yourself.

Has Richardson tested the squad for this?

Thought Leam said we wouldn’t see him or Nyambe back next year

I’m sure Keane is still a lot better than he showed he. But it was a thoroughly miserable loan spell after the 2 goals and be amazed if he came back

difference was Glen Little was absolutely loved by the Burnley fans so clearly he had something special. Keane on the other hand....

As I recall LR was asked question at the end of the season and said no we wouldn’t be going back for him.
