Despite all of this the bookies still fancy them to get promoted ahead of us!

That sounds like they're in trouble.

Their stadium costs going from £80m to £170m in a few years, with their licence expiring in 2028, could well be the kicker for them. There's no way that's financially viable for them.

They appear to have overextended themselves financially (like many others). How they could be losing north of £12m in League One is beyond me.

Wouldn't be surprised if they got relegated again this season with the lack of players they have in certain positions too.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Reading lose about £12m in the last accounts, before player sales?

I agree they are hinging there hopes on Harris up front the worst centre forward for goals in the football league, they have 2 centre backs not injured. Atleast when we were in trouble we had the academy to prop us up with youth players. But I don’t think they have that kind of set up.

Starting to feel sorry for them then I realise it’s Oxford….

And apparently their contract to use the Kassam stipulates that all matchday revenue goes to the previous owner.

Seen two videos on their plight, and they are royally O*ford. Nine players have left and they are not allowed to buy OR even sign players.

Good thing we play them early before they have the chance to get their act together.

For all the ‘rivalry’ stuff really hope they don’t have to go through what we did. No team deserves that

100%. I'm sure a few Oxford idiots enjoyed laughing at us, but most of them are just football fans with a connection to their home/family club like we are.

Didn't they have a countdown to us going bust? So I think some of them definitely did enjoy it.
