Bikey has a reputation that he seems to be living up to. Don't sign him - if he can get sent off in a pre season friendly for an off the ball incident then there's no way he'll handle the English game.

Couldn't agree more. Wouldn't want that Wayne Rooney or Paul Scholes either.

higher Interesting facts about Orgryte:
Örgryte IS, also commonly referred to as ÖIS, is a Swedish football club based in Gothenburg. The club were formed on 4 December 1887 and were one of the teams in the first football match in Sweden, 22 May 1892. Örgryte IS has won 12 national championship titles and one national cup title. They are currently playing in the highest Swedish league, Allsvenskan. The home arena of the team is Gamla Ullevi. Notable former players of the club include Agne Simonsson, Gunnar Gren, Sören Börjesson and Marcus Allbäck.

And Brynjar Gunnarsson.

If that was a wikipedia article, you should go and edit it.

More Örgryte game

by Viking Royal » 08 Aug 2006 22:12

From were I was standing the sent off was a really off the ball incident, but the ball just came from the "scene", and it didnt look too bad to me. He did something with the ois player, but couldnt tell what he really did to the guy. It was a pretty tough tackle just before, and they had about the same incident minutes before that. At both occations the ref denied a free kick to Reading.

The guy flew in from Russia and directly to loads of training and matches with new faces. All of this under an extreme pressure to perform well to get out of hell. Do you think he was a bit tired at time of the crime?

I dont know whether this circumstances make the thing more excusable. But to me: Dont let one stupid thing spoil the great opportunity of signing a good player. As someone mentioned: Bobby got sent off at the same game last year, and he did allright!

From the game I could mention that Bobby were great, together with back 4(usual ones). Seol came on with 20 minutes left or so, and impressed everyone!

Thanks for the update Viking; hope you guys manage to get to see a few games over here next season.

Oh, and don't worry about Sidders or anyone else mouthing off about Sweden; those of us who have been over there know what a great place it is!
