They already refuse to sell individual tickets to non ST holders to this area, and they carefully check the ticket of each person sitting there to check they've got a valid ticket. So while it's not "closed" it's closed to new people - even ST holders who want to buy tickets fr their families to sit there.
There is a clearly mindset at the club which says thinks that people can only possibly want to be in Y26 in order to goad the opposition supporters. While that's true for some supporters, of course, the club are making a generalisation that it applies to all.
If they really wanted to do things properly and sensibly, they'd make Y26 the family area, reduce the prices there but make sure all there did have kids in attendance and that would give them a "buffer zone" instead of what they currently fear is a "conflict zone."
