a"dip in form"?.."we" were pathetic.

Had Upson been any more physical in the position that he was in, he would have ended up with a red card. Agree that James hesitated, indeed took a step back, before finally coming to close Klose.Flyingkiwi wrote:I'm not defending John Terry (who, I think, is a twat); but I do take issue with your assertation that Upson is looking "world class". Klose pushed him off like a amatuer.Ideal wrote:So you missed the fact that he only had to chase Klose because Terry ran 10 yards upfield and miscalculated where the ball went completely?
Should have been an easy headed clearance, but he made a mess of it and it gifted Germany a goal.
James was also partly at fault for that goal for getting himself stuck in no-mans-land.
The qualifying campaign? most ever goals scored? etc.......frimmers3 wrote:can you remind us of the "great two years" that will salve the collective brows as they gaze upon the debacle?

I imagine that's what will happen. Thr issue is; what replacements are there that are likely to still be around in 4 years time?comeonyouroyals wrote:Its time to demote all the older players and build a new team around players like Rooney and Milner, it may bring about a few poor matches but it will give the players the experience they need for future tournements. As the commentators have just said Schweinstger has 79caps at just 25 years old and similar to Polodski.
that is a bit like passing your driving test first time and crashing when out on the road by yourself for the first time.....Wycombe Royal wrote:The qualifying campaign? most ever goals scored? etc.......frimmers3 wrote:can you remind us of the "great two years" that will salve the collective brows as they gaze upon the debacle?

why ignore the truth?..england are not,and will not be a world football power until the premiership is graced by domestic players. take your rosies of pal,and get real. the sun and sky tv do not world champions make. listen to an oldie grass hopper, sometimes they hit the spot....Row Z Royal wrote:Ignore Frimmers and he'll go away eventually.
