It's the way of the Reading fan m8. As a group we just love to complain. Can you believe that there was a group of Facebook users who actually blamed me for our poor start to the season, suggesting that our form was terrible since we'd employed this new programme designer (i.e. me), etc. Despite the fact it was probably said tongue in cheek it still shows the mentality of our fanbase.TBM wrote:How can people knock the designs?
I think they are superb and make us stand out from other clubs around......beats a boring "action shot" from last weeks game
No idea pal. It would be great to do them in the Prem, and a lot more manageable given the decrease in fixtures and the more comfortable match schedule.TBM wrote:Us designers gotta stick together
Do you know if you'll be doing them again next season?
Couldn't agree more! I hope they stick with you next season. I know other clubs have been complimentary of the programme covers as well, so it would be a shame to lose your art work.TBM wrote:How can people knock the designs?

To be honest it's just a case of different people having different preferences.Thomas L'Heureux wrote:It's the way of the Reading fan m8. As a group we just love to complain. .TBM wrote:How can people knock the designs?

Think the last few covers were really nice, much prefer that illustration style to the early ones. As TL'H says, they'd look an awful lot better on an uncoated stock, but that's never going to be practical for the amount they must print.Rev Algenon Stickleback H wrote:To be honest it's just a case of different people having different preferences.Thomas L'Heureux wrote:It's the way of the Reading fan m8.
