Good to hear - hopefully they've calmed down recently after the complaints they received - and/or they see Reading fans as being "low risk" - but early in the season there were some bad reports about them.

Jesus! For a club in the financial shite, they don't make it easy to get a ticket do they?

First; the ticket seller at the away fan enterance wouldn't take a 50 quid note and told me to go to the main office who wouldn't sell me an away ticket and sent me back to the first office (but with change) only to find that the bastards had closed up. I only got attention after banging furiously on the window (only 2 left for the Reading section at the time too) but I eventually got in (a few minutes late) and didn't miss anything important.

Indeed.

However, if Reading made ordering tickets by non-members a fraction easier I, perhaps, wouldn't have had the problem in the first place (and. maybe. if the Bank of China hadn't given me 3,600 quid all in 50 quid notes before I left: I did wonder if high denomination notes would cause a problem).
