Grealish would have been eaten alive by SavicHendo wrote:Athletico have been doing this for years, though, right? I am not sure why it is getting so much press attention at the moment.

On a different note, is there a law regarding a player clearly losing control of himself on the pitch during a game? For me Savic clearly was not in control of himself and was a danger to others. I'd have liked to have seen him sent off personally.paultheroyal wrote:Why is this 2 yellow card rule over consecutive games not being looked at. How can it be that you can receive 2 yellow cards in 2 separate games and then miss the next one. Its utterly ridiculous. 3 cards maybe, but basically its like you are on a walking red once first card given for the next game. Just dont understand why this rule has not been updated. Dont seem right to me.
This basically, or at least for his tunnel antics.NathStPaul wrote:On a different note, is there a law regarding a player clearly losing control of himself on the pitch during a game? I also think it should be a yellow card for going toward the ref for protesting things.
I think if players crowd the ref, apart from the captain , it should be an automatic yellowpaultheroyal wrote:Loafer wrote:This basically, or at least for his tunnel antics.NathStPaul wrote: On a different note, is there a law regarding a player clearly losing control of himself on the pitch during a game? Refusing to leave the field of play 5 seconds after red administered should result in an extra 1 game ban. These things are not hard to enforce and governing bodies could make football alot easier for referee's.

West Ham up next.
The much maligned Conference League has a very decent semi final line up:
Leicester v Roma
Feyernoord v Marseille
