Really evocative read this, of life as a 'real' professional footballer and below the top level of the game. Perhaps a credit to the US sports scholarship system too, very well written - by Mancunian Laurie Bell, rejected by Man City and Stockport County, he has found a professional career in the third tier of the US league.
