Very interesting chat on R4 earlier about modern day football hooliganism.

The academic in question was saying that it isn't really anything organised anymore, and that a lot of modern trouble is simply cocaine fuelled. This just ramps up anger/emotion and gives extra false confidence.

There was a great suggestion about copying one Brazilian club that had bad hooligan/cocaine troubles...…..they recruited loads of mothers (middle aged +) from the local community and made them the stewards down the front. Apparently it massively calmed down the fans and trouble

Puts them on 41, four clear of Reading and five of the relegation zone.

They play West Brom Leeds, Shef Utd & Derby next, then play 4 of the current bottom 6 after that to finish the season.

Well their form has been dipping of late so perhaps "Squeaky Brum" time is right for them.

Would expect them to be comfortably out of it well before the end of the season though.

Same here but having lost 4 on the bounce you could easuly see that being 7 by the time they've been to West Brom and hosted Leeds & Sheff United.

Probably just need to find 1 win from somewhere and their GD is clearly vastly superior being +4.
