Just because Ferdinand is struggling with his back still? If so I can see where your coming from.
From what I've seen of the Premier League this season Ferdinand has still looked good, although his rare appearances haven't been up to his usual standards (but then who's at Utd have apart from Fletcher and Rooney).Silver Fox wrote:In exactly that way, plus when he has played this year (I think he's played this year?) he hasn't exactly made me think of Bobby mooreHoop Blah wrote:Carragher > Ferdinand?

None have the footballing brain of Carragher though, thats why i think he's being looked on.....Dawson has had a good season, but is he really International standard? - same with Cahill and Johnson. Upson is probably the only one that i would take over Carragher imhoHoop Blah wrote:If I was discounting Ferdinand because of his injury then I'd look at Dawson, Cahill, Upson and Roger Johnson over Carragher.

He's lost a yard of pace compared to even 12-18 months ago though, it's not like he's had a vintage season is it?TBM wrote:None have the footballing brain of Carragher though, thats why i think he's being looked on.....Dawson has had a good season, but is he really International standard? - same with Cahill and Johnson. Not sure on that football brain bit, but he's experienced and maybe less likely to have a shocker than the others.TBM wrote:None have the footballing brain of Carragher though, thats why i think he's being looked on.....Dawson has had a good season, but is he really International standard? - same with Cahill and Johnson. That doesn't make sense. I don't give a shit what the players do in their private lives (note the word, private), as long as they do the business on the pitch.wolsey wrote:Because he is not an individual that you (I) should be happy to be associated withSpaceCruiser wrote:Why?Row Z Royal wrote:Skillz.
