Now the season is (more or less) over and we know which players are going to be fit for the WC..........what would be your 23 man squad for the WC

I don't know every player, for example I haven't a clue who i'd pick for right back.

but these are the ones I think should be certs assuming a perfect world of fitness..

James/an other

Cole, Baines, Terry, Ferdinand, Upson, Dawson (the tottenham one right?) plus two right backs

Walcott, Cole, Barry, Lampard, Milner, Gerrard (who knows maybe he can find the motivation in the summer), Lennon

Defoe, Rooney, Heskey + undecided on the other, I guess Cole as he's the only other big striker we really have.

After that it's a toss up between quite a few players who could provide cover in my opinion.

A good player in his own right, should be on the list.

The fact that he was constantly being overlooked by England managers when the likes of Wes Brown were getting in probably had something to do with it.
