No you pillock, he won it back to back seasons at Brighton. When they beat the whole of the world team the first year and then the Galaxy Champions in front of a home crowd of 24 billion fans the next.AthleticoSpizz wrote:mmmm good call, did he get a shot at it?....Chelsea I presumeOuroboros wrote:Steve Sidwell.

You must remember that?
Bet Vardy & Mahrez are glad they turned down Arsenal etc now,.....genome wrote:Dafuq is going on at Leicester?
Is Kante THAT good?
Wouldn't surprise me if Mahrez went in Jan. I just don't think that Vardy is good enough to move and for a top club to want him. I just don't get the hype. He went on an insane scoring run last season and does have a bit of pace about him, but it is starting to look like last year was a blip.TBM wrote:Bet Vardy & Mahrez are glad they turned down Arsenal etc now,.....genome wrote:Dafuq is going on at Leicester?

Its not just the Champos League game though, its their form in the Prem as well.stealthpapes wrote:Half-dead-rubber gets won by the team that needed to win.
No, not really. You can't see them going down either.Hendo wrote:Yet is the key thing.
If they continue to go for glory in the CL (and possibly the FA Cup) it will hurt their league position.
Unless they get into serious trouble, I can't see them going down - there are just 3 worse teams than them.

So why not have a cup run or two? Sure, the CL is almost certainly beyond them, but a decent draw for the last 16 and then its the Quarter finals. The money they will get from a CL run to the knockout stages will vastly, vastly outweigh what they get for a couple of places in the division. The prestige of knocking out any of the big teams will vastly, vastly outweigh any number of rainy days in Stoke.
What else do they have to miss out on?
Surely after winning the league and the money and fame they get from it, there is no reason why they can't do it again. Whats the point in becoming the next BlackburnJohn Madejski's Wallet wrote:^^ Yeah thatstealthpapes wrote:No, not really. You can't see them going down either.Hendo wrote:Yet is the key thing.

Fair f*cks to them
They know they're never gonna reach the top 4 of the prem again, so why not prioritise your only ever go in the CL
