Pre-Match Parking - a new option

Apologies for putting this on Team Board but here goes.

Premier Foods who have commercial premises on Imperial way, have just opened their car park on match days for supporters at a rate of £7. Whilst this in itself is nothing particularly exciting, they do donate @ 75% of the money they take to Cancer Research.

Just to be clear, I have no professional interest in this at all, but I would rather save a quid and know the money is going to a good cause.

Nevertheless, well worth stressing. Premier Foods being the good guys, helping out with the parking problem and donating the vast majority of money received to charity.

We used to park at The Holiday Inn but would rather give our money to Cancer Research!

Not laziness I wouldn't think more that it would need someone to staff the car park, and there is also a fear that Football fans are thugs and will vandalize your property and leave it in a mess with litter. I'm only guessing......maybe it is just laziness or maybe no one has ever approached half the companies in the area.

That's over £1,300 to Cancer Research each game if they can fill it.

Fully deserves our support and for once I won't feel I'm being ripped off when parking for a game.

Cheaper, contribution to charidy and a quicker getaway as it's a smaller car park.
