TV schedule From December onwards

I'm trying to find out when the TV schedule for the 2nd part of the season comes out - does anyone know...?

Going on experience of previous years, they'll probably release the December and January fixtures at the end of October / start of November. The rest of the season's TV fixtures will be released in dribs and drabs after that.

Thanks. Knew it wasn't too far out but wondered if Prem League have a cut off time to allow for travel arrangements etc to be booked....

No, even though common sense says they should, they steadfastly resist all requests to agree to something like that.

To be honest why would they want to accomodate anyone wanting to attend the game rather than sitting in front of the TV to watch.

It's not common sense, it's sharp business practices.

Because a key selling point of their "product" is the vibrancy and atmosphere at games, and that comes from the crowd there.

Similarly a significant sum of the income of their shareholder clubs comes from ticket sales, especially for the smaller clubs, and so by not being consistent and taking live supporters into account they are hurting their clubs' income streams.

While I take you points on board, the media have constantly been trying to water down support for national leagues in favor of the European competitions where the fixtures are fixed are all televised. Trust me, they really do not give a sh1t about domestic football save for the top 4 teams which, coincidentally, are the teams that also play in the elite european competitions (Liverpool are the exception that proves the rule!)

I think there is an unofficial 6 week grace period that Sky try to stick to (by try to I mean if it suits them). Dirk Gently is the oracle on all things TV football related but not sure if he's on here much any more.
