You should go regardless since it can't be far from you Heathrow Royal. It's worth seeing for yourself how much of a piece of crap stadium they have.heathrow royal wrote:If we are only getting 2000 then is that going to be upper tier or lower??? I've never been but heard that the view from upstairs is rubbish and that the best place to be is in the lower

I'll probably try and get near the back and stand. Also am I right in thinking they are one of the most expensive clubs in the division?
The 0-0 in Jan 09 was hopeless as well - think the first shot on target was after 80 minutes. F-ing freezing to boot.Big Foot wrote:Sat in the lower tier for one of the worst away games ever about 5/6 years ago - nil nil draw although that was the day there was a Lesley Grantham look a like in the home stands who got jip for the complete 90![]()
Deliberating over where to go to this one or not, how much were tickets last year? If it's above £20 I'm more than likely going to be OUT
That was a terrible game and tickets were £40 plus each to boot. Didn't bother last season as it was a midweek and we were pretty uninspiring at the time.Ginger Ninjas wrote:The 0-0 in Jan 09 was hopeless as well - think the first shot on target was after 80 minutes. All about Ivar's header from a Jonny Oster corner in front of the Reading fans...
Small club, crap ground.loyalroyal4life wrote:Stuka wrote:I feel duty bound to to go all Reading games in the London area but for Christ's sake I never look forward to this one. And it doesnt help when you want to stand up and you have a miserable fart behind you whining for you to sit down and enjoy the game as if you were reading a book!
Every time I've been in the upper tier it has been 0-0. Have seen us win, lose and draw from lower tier but at least there are goals. For that reason, and the £5 difference which would be better spent on 2 extra pre match pints I will be in the lower tier.handbags_harris wrote:Tickets, I believe, are the same price as last year:-
Lower tier £25
Upper tier £30
Lower tier for me this year, I don't want to see us spanked with a good view fron the front row like last season.
