How Many Royalty Points Do You Have?

I thought a quick poll might give a rough idea of the distribution of Royalty points and give those anxious to get their hands on Stevenage tickets an indication of where they stand compared to others.

And yes, before anyone asks it, I do think that in this context the membership of HNA is pretty representative of the Royals' support as a whole.

I left 100+ as the lowest option because after that Stevenage tickets go on general sale.

However, now you mention it, I do recognise that to get a complete picture there ought to be a less than 100 button.

B*gger! That edit to the poll has given me the chance to vote again! Has it done the same for everyone else? If so, my attempt to make the poll more accurate potentially has had the opposite effect!

It's even worse, my edit has reset the poll to scratch!!! Curses on you Red!

Would ths be a good time to point out that as you can (presumably) count Royalty Points the poll should read "Fewer than 100"?

Good spot and I am normally the pedant when it comes to the English language. But having b*ggered up the poll to date when Red pointed out that I needed that category, there's no way I am going to change it again, just to remove an error that few are likely to be offended by!!

By the way, as you can (presumably) spell, you have missed a letter out of 'ths'

Schards has 1832 and I have 1771 so we'll have to wait until Thursday, unless we don't sit together. I've had a season ticket for over 25 years - and so, obviously, have had an ST since Royalty points began - so it can't be 1800 is the maximum you would have for having an ST, and going to home cup games - it MUST also include away games, only a handful of which I haven't been to with Schards.

1804, the 5 points from my last away trip at Millwall have worked out nicely.

Due to costs of travelling etc I have only been to about 12 away games in the last 3 seasons.

I have sympathy for supporters who go away more than me but have less points as I still can't understand why the club only give 5 points for say Preston or Burnley away on a Tuesday night yet 10 points for a Saturday home cup tie against Liverpool.

I don't know. With his loyalty you would hope the team finds a way to get him a reasonable number of freebies.

I think the points for away games should be higher personally, also i think the club should get to a point soon when they start wiping away points from previous years like for all those who haven't come back since we left the Premiership.

I sort of agree Compo but perhaps have the home and away points separate. Wiping out previous seasons points would even keel thing but would not push those up the queue who attend the majority of games. Away support is more expensive and timely but garners only 2 - 5 points IIRC.

There are 101 ways you could operate the Loyalty system, and they are all wrong.

those that have been to every game inthe last couple of years?
those that have been going for 50 years but not so much these days?
those that have had a ST through rain sleet or shine?

Remember the hasle in 95 for the play off sems? i had to take the afternoon off to queue round the ground with johnny come latelys despite not having missed a game for 2 years. ST holders locked out for Bolton at home as well.

the current system is about as good as you are likely to get.
