Can't see Moyes managing Chelsea. He's not high profile enough. Decent,solid manager but Everton haven't gone places under his management and he hasn't always been starved of funds.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Moyes there. If you look at the budgets he's been restricted too and the league finishes he's had with Everton, I'd say he's done an exceptional job there under the circumstances. On occasion,he has had some reasonable money to play with, but more often than not it's been a small budget. Luckily for Everton Moyes has a good eye for a player, and is one for plucking players from the Championship, which is always good to see and never bank breaking fees. (Cahill, Jagielka, Lescott..)

He's done a perfectly reasonable job there Jay but I don't see him as the type Chelsea appoint. He's got no money to spend now but thats not always been the case and for a club thats been in top flight football for as long as I can remember he hasn't quite managed to make the breakthrough with them...ie winning things or getting into the top 4. When they have managed to get into Europe they've fared poorly. So he's a qualified success as Everton manager in my eyes....and I think Chelsea will want more than that on a CV.

I think Moyes has done a pretty good job at Everton but I wonder if it is time for a new challenge for him. He is now 3/1 to be the next Premiership Manager to leave his job. I agree with Pearcey I cannot see Chelsea going for him. The Champions League is their Holy Grail and I think they will continue to go for Managers who have a lot of top level European or International experience. I think he might make a sideways sort of move maybe at the end of the season.
