But the difference is Arsenal will go into the game with a different attitude, especially if they've just won the league cup. Confidence could play a big part.

Last year Arsenal HAD to score to win the tie or go out on away goals. This time round they can just sit back and hit Barca on the counter - like Inter did last season.

As for their worst performance, I don't think they played very well last week when they drew with the might of relegation threatened Gijon!

Barcelona did not play poorly. In fact they were exceptionally good at times, but Arsenal played superbly at the back and snuffed them out time after time.

Hardly. I prefer Madrid and don't like Barca as a club. Would love nothing more than for Barca to go out but on past experience I'm very doubtful that those Catalan cry babies will lose to anyone twice.

To quote Arsene Wenger I didn't see it. I was on a train back from Norwich at the time of the Gijon game but did have a good laugh at the scoreline when I heard it.

Brilliant game tonight.

Barca are a class act and I fully expect them to go through in the second leg HOWEVER Arsenal dug really deep tonight after looking like they'd get shredded in the first half. Great win for them.

Best two Arsenal players for me were Koscielny and Wilshere. Wilshere was Arsenal's best midfielder and it's great to see an Englishman doing so well against such good players.
