Likewise. Cracking game.Kitson12 wrote:Kosceilney (or however you spell it) played a blinder, MOM for me.
But the difference is Arsenal will go into the game with a different attitude, especially if they've just won the league cup. Confidence could play a big part.sandman wrote:Worst Barca have played all season and they still dominated the Arsenal throughout until they eased off. I expect it to be like last year and Barca to go through at the Nou Camp comfortably.
I think this maybe a 'Barca love-in' post, so I'm going to dismiss it.sandman wrote:Worst Barca have played all season and they still dominated the Arsenal throughout until they eased off. I expect it to be like last year and Barca to go through at the Nou Camp comfortably.
Last year Arsenal HAD to score to win the tie or go out on away goals. This time round they can just sit back and hit Barca on the counter - like Inter did last season.sandman wrote:Worst Barca have played all season and they still dominated the Arsenal throughout until they eased off. Exactly. Yeah they're probably the best team on the planet at the moment but they're not unbeatable.Row Z Royal wrote:I think this maybe a 'Barca love-in' post, so I'm going to dismiss it.sandman wrote:Worst Barca have played all season and they still dominated the Arsenal throughout until they eased off. Barcelona did not play poorly. In fact they were exceptionally good at times, but Arsenal played superbly at the back and snuffed them out time after time.sandman wrote:Skill plays a bigger part. Trust me the only way you beat Barca is if they beat themselves. Arsenal played very well and well done to them but Barca are very unlikely to play that poorly at the Camp Nou.
Hardly. I prefer Madrid and don't like Barca as a club. Would love nothing more than for Barca to go out but on past experience I'm very doubtful that those Catalan cry babies will lose to anyone twice.Row Z Royal wrote:I think this maybe a 'Barca love-in' post, so I'm going to dismiss it.sandman wrote:Worst Barca have played all season and they still dominated the Arsenal throughout until they eased off. But not the worst they've played this year and didn't domin8 throughout.sandman wrote:Hardly. I prefer Madrid and don't like Barca as a club. To quote Arsene Wenger I didn't see it. I was on a train back from Norwich at the time of the Gijon game but did have a good laugh at the scoreline when I heard it.Hoop Blah wrote:Exactly. As for their worst performance, I don't think they played very well last week when they drew with the might of relegation threatened Gijon!
