Final tickets - when was the money taken from your account?

Not sure myself yet as I paid by credit card and don't have an internet account for it. Will have to w8 until the next statement (usually arrives first week in the month if memory serves)

I think Ticketzone's anti-fraud measures must have kicked in and rejected the transaction - they probably saw it as a dodgy transaction since they couldn't believe that anyone who got through so early in the sales process could possibly want to buy crappy seats up in the gods.

If you bank with HSBC and click the "show account information" from your "recent transactions" screen on internet banking the money shown as available, less your balance and your overdraft (!) is reserved for debit card transactions. Should be able to work out from that if the money has been "reserved" (in which case your transaction is fine and has been processed).

Only works for debit cards, and HSBC for that matter (!) but I am sure you can work something similar from your account summary screen for other banks.

It's common practice for card transactions not to appear on your statement for 2-3 working days. I can see they reserved my money by working out what I spent over the weekend!!!!

Wth many others, the difference between "Account Balance" and "Available Balance" shows money reserved for pending tnasactions like this.

I phoned TZ on Saturday am. Got through about 9.30 and got a transaction number. The money has not been reserved in my account, but I was told the tickets would be dispatched today. Someone has already mentioned they are printing/processing dispatch stuff today- and it is normal that your account is not charged before your goods are dispatched.

I shall check my account later and expect the money to be taken then. If the postie does not deliver Tue/Wed I shall be driving to North Devon and ripping young Mathews head off.

Been worried about this ever since the woman on the phone said "If there's any problems with processing your transaction we'll contact you" ... er, what problems would that be then? Card should be accepted or rejected straight away.

No money gone yet (booked at 10:10am Turdsday)... Now it's all sold out I'm starting to sweat. I have plenty of money available in my account for this (and for the Olympic tickets I've requested for that matter) so no worries on that end...

I have spent £400 on tickets and my account "available funds" has come down by about £450 between Sat morning and now. (I bought 3 tickets on Sat morning and 2 tickets this morning)

I bloody hope £400 of that is the tickets or I gambled and drunk a lot more than I thought on Saturday night.

Account balance is still the same, just available funds changed.

I just rang - they've taken the money out, but they said it might take a while to show on the account - tickets in the post!!
