2) having a winger as a captain is absolute mince
1. brighton and others have a panel, sunderland and others had stripes front and back last season. for some unknown reason the club just prefer to have a plain back. i don't like it, nor do i agree with it, but it really is only a shirt. deal with it.Big Foot wrote:1) white back to the shirts - I notice Brighton have a "panel" on their shirt yet we can't?![]()

2. you made that judgement based on 95 minutes of football. mcanuff had a fair game and you can't fault the team for their never say die attitude. i'm struggling to see what you're basing that opinion on.

Absolutely shocking isn't itPieEater wrote:Was sitting in Y19 and the whole team looked like Swansea (except for the passing) when we were going forward. The kit is full white from behind.

A captains role is not just during the 90mins. Its a season long job done day in day out at the training ground. Doesnt matter what position he plays. Theres been hundreds of successful captains that are goalkeepers or strikers (stuck up one end). Its all goodCompo's Hat wrote:Prefer the captain to be down the spine of the team myself.
Me too, but I prefer him to be the best man for the job more. And McAnuff drifts a lot allowing him to be more involved than on just the wing.Compo's Hat wrote:Prefer the captain to be down the spine of the team myself.
