08 Jan 2012 17:11Utterly confused by this. Not enough notice? If we had beaten Stevenage we would of been at home that day..Local police force will probably say no.( Not enough notice, staffing, etc )

08 Jan 2012 21:06[Police require 7 days' notice, so that wouldn't be a problem. And that's assuming that this would be a match that needs police presence -the majority are police-free.Mary Hinge wrote:Local police force will probably say no.( Not enough notice, staffing, etc )

09 Jan 2012 09:18I think last season it was about 14 or 15 games - definitely more than half of the games.Big Foot wrote:Far from the majoritySvlad Cjelli wrote:[Police require 7 days' notice, so that wouldn't be a problem. 09 Jan 2012 11:42So you wouldn't have gone to Reading V Man Utd in the FA Cup Round 4 on that date (had it panned out differently)?JR wrote:I have never been so angry with my football team - this is an outrageous decision and an abuse of fans.
I am someone who takes advantage of weekends free of home league games to make other plans, so cannot go to the 'rearranged' game. The club have to appreciate that people have lives outside of football.
So not only did I have to sit throught the inept performance on Saturday (worst I have ever seen from Reading), but now I cannot watch a league game I have already paid for.
It is an absolute disgrace.
