+1, and now trying to rectify their mistake with the massive prices...royalexile wrote:I think the club have done themselves with the early bird promotion.
I was thinking that too. It's a little risky. We know we can sell-out every week in the Premier League, but we are not a club with a huge fan base (yet), and I can see games against the Fulham's and Wigan's etc being more 22,500's now than 24,100's.royalexile wrote:I think the club have done themselves with the early bird promotion.
Assuming beer is going to be a fiver a pint next season that's only like, 10 pints.urz13 wrote:£50 for Man U at home
As I wrote in another thread- it gives us a possible figure for next season dependant on success. It will be interesting to see the price bands for the away matches. Chelsea was the most expensive at £46 if I recall correctly.Friday's Legacy wrote:I was thinking that too. It's a little risky. This. Especially as I go to around 50% of away games and probably 3 max home gameRoyalJames101 wrote:Makes me even happier to have a season ticket.
But at the end of the day.. Away games > Home games.
As if Wigan would bring 2000 anyway.Friday's Legacy wrote:I was thinking that too. It's a little risky. So 21,000 or so then. A big risk I feel, especially when the club plan to expand to 30,000 in 12 months if we stay up. At those prices there will be 7000 empty seats for the lesser games. We shall see.Platypuss wrote:As if Wigan would bring 2000 anyway.Friday's Legacy wrote:I was thinking that too. It's a little risky. There were 3 levels of ticket prices last time around. It may have been around £32 for the likes of Wigan (doubt it was much lower as my season ticket back then was more than £540!) but it was a lot more for Utd.Winchester Royal wrote:IIRC match day prices were £32 and advance purchases were £27-28?
This thread is suggesting advance purchase will be £40 for the big games.
Depends whether you only want to watch the 'big' games then really, doesn't it? As Coppell always used to say, they're fairly irrelevant to our season.Winchester Royal wrote:Probably won't be going to many next season then, £40 a ticket for the big games is sadly going to price me out.
Though of course next year you might not be able to as tickets for many of the away games will sell out to season ticket holdersRFCUK wrote:This. Especially as I go to around 50% of away games and probably 3 max home gameRoyalJames101 wrote:Makes me even happier to have a season ticket.
