Also any previous tips for parking, or is the train the best option?

Once you get to Birmingham, get the metro from Snow Hill station up to the Hawthorns, the stop is right behind the ground and dead easy to get back to afterwards.

Street parking is tricky round the ground and there are a lot of matchday parking restrictions, but there are the usual collection of industrial buildings offering parking.

Saturday 22nd September 2012, 3pm
We have a total allocation of 1500 tickets, priced as follows: £25 adults, £20 over 60s, £15 under 21s, £15 students, £10 under 17s.

Swansea City vs Reading
Saturday 4th October 2012, 3pm
We have an initial allocation of 1000 tickets, and more would only be made available if sales of the first 1000 tickets progress well. Prices are: £35 adults, £17.50 over 60s, £17.50 students, £17.50 under 16s.

Tickets for both games will be sold as follows:
From 9am Thursday 30th August: Season ticket holders with 2200+ Royalty Points
From 9am Friday 31th August: Season ticket holders with 1500+ Royalty Points
From 9am Saturday 1st September: Season ticket holders with 500+ Royalty Points
From 9am Monday 3rd September: All season ticket holders
From 9am Tuesday 4th September: All member card holders

Theres only been one away game this season, on a wednesday night, in which we still took over 2,000. I think the 1500 west brom saturday 3pm kickoff, not a long trip, will sell out very quickly. But then maybe only another 1,000 or so, i think the problem is they dont want to take 3,000 and have to pay west brom for the unsold 500 x 25 = £12,500

The 1,500 WBA tickets instead of the normal 3,000 allocation taken up by RFC is a poor decision.

The 1,500 ticket allocation taken will sell out very quickly at £25 each and only 2 hours down the road.

I cant agree wih you more. Really reasonable prices for premiership football and not that far to travel, 1500 seats i expect to be snapped up in a relatively short period of time.
