Seriously getting to the point where we're becoming a laughing stock!
Newcastle fans were spotted with them. Seriously, who gives a dam? They don't get that much use during the game. To be honest all I give a oxf*rd about it us winning!Compo's Hat wrote:http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/clap-banners-446667.aspx

That's football in the 21st century - shite and aimed at families and kids rather than at traditional supporters, but why are people so constantly surprised?

Not fussed any more. Do you ever notice them in bulk during a game? No. Before yes, but so what? Fulham, Chelsea, Norwich and Newcastle have had them recently, amongst many others. It's a gimmick for the littlens.Compo's Hat wrote:http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/clap-banners-446667.aspx

Yeah you would, cos every time you start a song, the people round you would start clapping their things in time instead of singing.SPARTA wrote:Not fussed any more. If you sang your heart out all game instead of sit in silence for the majority of the 90 minutes, you wouldn't even notice them!
Start a song? So I take it you're in Y25/26? In which case I hardly saw anyone use them at all the last time we had them! A couple of pissed teens behind me started using them out of boredom, and they we told to put them away, and did so. If on the other hand you sit near the drummer and they try and sing and people use them then, well you shouldn't be near the poxy drummer then.. The point is they get used in moderation, not in their thousands (during the game). Get over it.mr_number wrote:Yeah you would, cos every time you start a song, the people round you would start clapping their things in time instead of singing.SPARTA wrote:Not fussed any more.
