When do Nobbers think RFC will adopt a living wage for staff employed by the club, as Luton have done?

Techically, but not in any meaningful way. It's what you get per hour worked.

I personally think they should be paid a little more - having to deal with utter belmonts every couple of weeks during the football season.

That's more than most theatre/concert venue stewards get paid.

I'd kind of forgotten I started this thread but I'm amazed that people think the only people employed by a football club are the stewards. I think it's more important that, for example, the cleaners and maids in the hotel get the living wage, as yes, that is probably their full time job and career.

Cleaner's wages aren't all that bad anymore. Very hard to attract them on minimum wage. The company i work for pays more for cleaners then it does stewards. Are the catering staff in the stadium employed by the club or a contractor? I'd put money on them being the worst paid.

Stadium cleaning and catering are contracted out and the hotel is franchised so no direct employees of RFC. Doesn't mean the club shouldn't have a responsibility to ensure their suppliers are paying staff properly but I had only been talking about people directly employed by the club.
