Noisy Section at Wembley

Last time that we went to Wembley there were a lot of complaints regarding the lack of a noisy section for those that want to sing and chant. So is this the time to start requesting that the club allocate an area at Wembley for those that want to get particularly vocal without day-trippers asking them to sit down and watch their language.
Maybe if some of you agree then at least contribute to this thread and perhaps we could find a way of letting the club know what the fans want.

Agree with the OP. Anyone who wants to be dull & boring then take tickets for the top tier please & let the vocal fans who want to stand up for the most part do that in the bottom tier.

No chance whatsoever that this will occur. Perhaps we need to agree to all stand and shout, be loud, back the boy and make some noise etc?

You say no chance, but isn't this exactly what we were able to achieve against Swansea?

A couple of blocks in the lower tier behind the goal were chosen and posted on here, and loads of people (me included) made sure we bought in one of those sections, and sure enough we stood all game and generated the most noise out of the Reading contingent.

Can't recall if the club or anywhere else backed it, but surely this is something we could organise ourselves again? I know we are the other end of the ground this time, but once we have a seating plan lets just pick a couple of blocks and go for it!

That's annoying, and I feel your pain.

In a small away end when you've been randomly allocated a seat I can understand people's frustrations with somebody standing in front of them, but when you can pick a seat from a choice of 35,000 you'd hope there would be enough space for everyone to chose a section where they could sit/stand amongst like minded people.

I may be wrong but I feel there has been a slight shift in the type of RFC fans and now I think there are more "lads" going to certain games - this may be my imagination.

I hope this is reflected in the atmosphere and fingers crossed I'm in an area where it's a bit rowdy and more noisy

I was in the upper tier for the Swansea game, with nearly everyone around sitting down most of the time. But the chap in front of me stood up at moments of excitement. That's no problem - I just stood up when he did. However, he kept looking round as if to make sure he wasn't blocking my view. So part way through the second half I said to him, "Don't worry about me, just stand up when you feel like it."

He obviously thought I was being sarcastic and never left his seat again until the final whistle. I've felt guilty ever since.

Would it maybe be better to go towards the corners of the lower tier behind the goal as even those who sit quietly in other parts of the Mad Stad that want to sit behind the goal will target the centre of that area? Mind you the singers might be a bit more spread out than the play off final as you could pick your row online.

Just as long as that dreadful drummer isn't in the lower tier ruining everyones day

The club said something about confirming singing sections so I'd hold off on setting your sights on 110 -113 just yet.
