Could be an even more important game for them now, with rumours that they're about to be docked 3 points for fielding an ineligible player in their win v Brighton. AFC Wimbledon were given the same punishment last year...

Would Brighton get the 3 points in that scenario?

No, the result tends to stand but the points aren't applied to the team at faults total.

I thought it was 3 points too, but the BBC article says

Divisional rivals Blackpool were fined £30,000 earlier this campaign after fielding an ineligible player in their defeat by Millwall. .

true, but they could still have three points deducted, surely?

This decision may cost Rotherham a lot more than £30 000 if they go down.

Whatever the outcome, I can't wait to see Steve Evans explode seeing as he already feels that "some people think we don't deserve to be in this division!!" - what a moany, whingy fat prick :mrgreen:
