The Football League Tonight show wants some Reading fans in the audience this Saturday 3rd Oct. Here's their message:

"We would need fans at the studio in Osterley (TW8 9EW) from around 7.30-10.30pm. If there’s enough interest then we may be able to provide a minibus to take fans to the studio from the game and then drop them off back at the Madejski afterwards, although we would need at least ten fans to be keen in order for us to provide transport.

Each person will be provided with a beer (fans need to be aged 18 or over to attend) and we’ll make sure everyone is looked after.

It nicely sums up a TV show where the "game of the day" only gets 45 seconds coverage, they can't even show the whole 15 seconds for the first goal and the only thing they can think of asking Reading fans is what they think of a song.

Seriously what's with the aggression towards RR? I'm on both and while I tend to post here more often, I can't see what people on RR have done to gain such animosity. To give a bit of backstory, it formed when BBC 606 closed their forums but it largely came about because many people couldn't actually get on here, I can't remember the reason either, I know I was one of the people who had signed up but their account never got authenticated meaning an alternative Reading forum was a necessity.

I mean if there are authentic reasons to hate them then sure but I feel like I'm missing the reason it is hated so much.

Disagree TBH.

You say it's sleepy, and certainly if you keep to talking about formations and tactics you'll be fine - but try poking around a bit, asking a few searching questions. Don't know what they're hiding but from the way they react it must be something pretty big.
