It's just a family event for fans to keep people amused during the off-season. Has absolutely no bearing on anything team or football related. Why would anyone get upset about it?

They are just trying to sell all the stock out of the megastore: blankets, beach towels, frisbees, water bottles and soft footballs, t-shirts, polo tops etc.

It is not the most beautiful setting for a picnic though.

Can I bring my barbecue? Actually, I might set up a little firepit on the centre spot. I'll bring some firewood, yeah, it could be great fun. I'll dig out the centre spot and make a little pit. Bring your meat and I will grill it for you.

This is going to be a great picnic. I'm looking forward to it already.
