Nice one. So accounting for last year where none of the 3rd (shifting places up one for League Two) placed teams went up, that'sWinston Biscuit wrote:http://www.skysports.com/football/news/ ... hat-a-mythgenome wrote:Does anyone have any stats on how statistically likely it is for the 3rd placed team to win the playoffs?
Probably not for this thread, but would be good to get those percentages as an index against success in the season after promotion, i.e. do the promoted 6th place teams generally come straight back down?genome wrote:Nice one. 3rd 38%
4th 20%
5th 20%
6th 22%
Does that mean the cat is dead all along?Sanguine wrote:If I recall correctly, I think I heard the other day that Fulham have never won a play-off game. Correct. This is their 4th play off appearance. Over the previous 3 apperances they have drawn one leg and lost the other each time.Sanguine wrote:If I recall correctly, I think I heard the other day that Fulham have never won a play-off game.
