I think City's current level would mean that Liverpool achieving the quadruple in part at their expense would be elevated even higher. It will be 63 games for Liverpool this season if they get past Villareal, and the club are likely to have seven or eight players having made 50 or more appearances.Loafer wrote:Would Liverpool winning the Quadruple be the best feat a team has ever accomplished in football?
Many teams have won a treble but to my knowledge none ever have got a clean sweep. Manchester United, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Celtic, Ajax and PSV have all won the treble of European Cup, league title and domestic cup.
Or was Leicester winning the Premier league better? Or Aguero last minute goal?
Or something even completely different such as Greece winning the Euros?

Indeed, though it's always seemed slightly strange that losing on penalties doesn't count as a loss.Sanguine wrote:I still think City will take the league title. It's still possible that Liverpool could lose just 3 of 63 games this season and win just one trophy.
