When is the earliest footy bus from outside the Station, and how long between the next bus etc?

They start 2 hours before KO. They go when they're full, but it's rare to wait more than 10 minutes. Generally every 5. Last one leaves about 1/2 hour before KO, but I've caught one that left at 7.40 midweek, and got there in time.

Alternatively get the 6 from Station Road and jump off outside Gillette and walk the rest. Will be cheaper as well.

Yeah, have considered that, and it's free with the bus pass (limited mobility due to back pain). Reading Buses don't let free bus passes for old folk or blue badge holders which I still find pretty disgusting, so a short walk down Acre Road is more likely when the back allows.

I normally got the 600 Mereoak on Station road, last stop before Friar st, drops you on the relief road opposite the business park, short walk up to the stadium, getting back it`s a £2.50 single with a bus pass back into town on the football bus, the 600 from Station road, 11.50 for the 12.30 kick offs and every 15 minutes after that.
