4 games to go, its that time of the season again. vote for your player of the season - list comprises of all players with over 10 appearances in the league, minus two players: MoM and Matty jacob who have left the club.

Top 3 is pretty obvious imo

Marriott
Wing
D Williams

In that order.

Agree on the top 3. I'd move Wing up to top. 11 goals, 11 assists, good defensive contribution, played far more games than the other two.

Wing.

Guy deserves a statue for all he has done since arriving. He is the only player who would walk into any other team in this division.

Wing
Pereira
Marriott
In that order for me.

Without the first two we might well have been nearer the relegation places than the play-off spots.

All three have saved our season.

FTR I voted Pereira.

Yeah prob that. Williams and Marriott not played enough to get into that top 2.

Mind you I’d give it a few games yet. If Doyle, Kelvin or Savage have a great last 3-4 games they’d have a shout

Marriotts’ goals have also helped stave off relegation of course.

Lewis Wing for obvious reasons.
Charlie Savage because he stays fit and so is almost always ever present.
Marriott for his goals.
JP slips to fourth choice due to his time wasting and shithousery.

I went with Derrick Williams due to the level of impact he has on our defence. He reads the game well; leads the defence well; good in the air; powerful; fairly comfortable on the ball. I think we've only lost four times when he's started (and two were in back-to-back games). I hadn't realised he'd missed so many games though, which is really the key mark against him.

Will probably be Marriott getting the official award; Wing second. Goals and assists get attention (spectacular saves for keepers), but Derrick does a lot of the intangibles well; and completely changes the team in a way I don't think anyone else does (perhaps Wing).

Still the (allbeit outside) chance of Lewis’s goal tally outweighing Jacks…..plus 11 (so far) assists tho’?

Good player Williams but surely he hasn't played enough games to qualify for the winner's spot?

Frankly not sure any player this season has played well enough to justify a vote. Very inconsistent performances and too many injuries preventing momentum.

Wing will win as he has scored a few, but he has been a shadow of the Wing of last season. Marriott would probably have won if he had played all season.

Well yes, of course, but don’t discount Lewis’s assists
