Rotherham connection too! Can also play as a wing backmorganb wrote: ↑01 May 2026 21:23 Fred Onyedinma has turned down the offer of a new contract at Wycombe Wanderers and is likely to leave the club this summer.
That ol' Wycombe Wanderers/JJ connection?

So he fits the criteria for most of our signings so I expect it is almost a done deal, i.e. past connections at 2 clubs and no transfer fee.Sutekh wrote: ↑02 May 2026 09:40Rotherham connection too! Personally hope it remains speculation.

How is his injury record?
Seems to have been alright for the past couple of years but I'm sure we can break him!Nov 2023 – Jan 2024: Suffered a significant hamstring injury during a warm-up for Rotherham United, causing him to miss over six weeks of action.
Sept 2021: Sustained ligament damage in a training ground collision with Luton Town, resulting in4-6 weeks out.
2022: Missed time with a serious hamstring issue and subsequent rehabilitation setbacks, which prevented him from playing in the play-offs.
Dec 2017: Suffered a torn groin while at Millwall.
(From a Wycombe journalist)Understand Fred Onyedinma’s most likely destination is Reading, should he leave Wycombe Wanderers this summer
Username checks out.dave the magic moron wrote: ↑12 May 2026 20:57 Bang average and won't improve the squad or first team. Would seem an utterly pointless signing, most likely idle speculation hopefully with no substance.
Feels like a YAK shaped hole, hopefully with a more robust injury recordFrom Despair To Where? wrote: ↑22 Jun 2026 22:27 Wikipedia suggests he is a wide midfielder who has also covered at wing back and DM.
Apparently he's quick and strong and has spent the majority of his career in the Championship or higher.
On a free, I think he'd be a solid signing.
10 of which came last season, with 3 assists - was involved in a goal every 240 mins. so every 2.5 games. Pretty decent season all in. (Season before equated to goal/assist every 288 mins, so involved in approx a 1 in 3 ratio.
So injured in his first pre-season friendly for Reading then.Stranded wrote: ↑23 Jun 2026 14:4710 of which came last season, with 3 assists - was involved in a goal every 240 mins. so every 2.5 games. Also started 40 of 46 games, coming on as sub in 3 others. So getting 43/46 games (and 40 the year before) shows he can stay fit.
