Hi Everybody,
Just to set the record straight...... 1. I did not steal this medal. 2. If i had not been at work i could have replied to the questions asked by the Ebayers. 3. It is EXACTLY the same as the players medals and that means it was cast from the same die, NOT A COPY WITH REPLICA WRITTEN ACROSS IT. I am more than happy for you to come to the Stadium and see it 4. Please don't posts threats asking other Ebayers for my address as this only worried my wife and scared my children! 5. Don't believe everything the EP writes because i did not pay Â£20 it was a lot more but i refused to answer the reporters question. 6. I can't believe Reading football fans have reacted like this and i have talk to other fans who have read this thread and been shocked by what one described as a 'witch hunt'. Remember that your views are read by many. 7. I have done nothing wrong and the only way i could clear my name was to go to the EP. 8. Reading got to the Premiership by a team effort of all the staff not just 11 players on the field. You have no idea how much the people behind the scenes give week in week out, it's staggering! 9. I am going to sell my medal and as a good will gesture all monies will go to the charity WHIZZ-KIDS. 10. Although i am not a fan i wish the whole team and all the supporters all the very best for the coming season.

1. No-one said it had replica written across it. However, as far as I am concerned, it was a copy and this was not stated in the ebay advert that I saw.

2. WHO has been threatening your wife and kids wanting to know your address??

3. If the only reason you bought one of these medals was to sell it on for a big profit, then I do not retract one word of what I have written on the other thread.

4. I fail to see how you, as a plumber, helped the team achieve promotion. Please explain.

* Disclaimer: I think plumbers do a great job and I'm not belittling your occupation, merely the notion that you, in some way, along with ticket office staff, coaching staff, admin staff etc, players and the manager helped get RFC promoted.

I don't know Darren and have no real opinion on the medal situation but would like to say that although it may not always run smoothly everyone who works at the club or for the club is there for a reason, they may not have directly achieved promotion like the football team but as a business/club as a whole, every employee does their bit and works hard so that the players can perform on the pitch, in the stadium.

P.S. I am not an employee of the club
