No. They don't.Do they even still play in the Welsh FA Cup?
That is a very valid point.Promotion to the Premiership might even force Cardiff to sort their support out once and for all.
YAWN. Did people complain when Swansea were there briefly, in the early 80s?Also, it is the ENGLISH Premiership - wouldn't it look stupid to have a Welsh team in it?
Why not?papereyes wrote:No. They don't.Do they even still play in the Welsh FA Cup?
Because they play in the FA Cup.No. They don't.
Why not?
IIRC, they were basically told if they were to compete in the Welsh Cup they would have to leave the Football League and join the LoW. Understandably they chose to leave the cup.SpaceCruiser wrote:Why not?papereyes wrote:No. They don't.Do they even still play in the Welsh FA Cup?
Have you just got a problem with every country other than England?SpaceCruiser wrote:With the Southend manager tipping Cardiff to win the Championship, it looks possible that we may see Cardiff in the Premiership next season. Would you like to see that happen?
I, for one, do not want their horrible hooligans in the Premiership.
Also, it is the ENGLISH Premiership - wouldn't it look stupid to have a Welsh team in it? There is the League of Wales, why can't they play in it? I know that they (and Swansea) were in the English league long before the formation of the League of Wales, but still perhaps they should get there and they'll have an easier route into Europe. Do they even still play in the Welsh FA Cup?

So why highlight the fact it would be stupid if a WELSH team was in the Premier leagueSpaceCruiser wrote:WHAT is your problem?TBM wrote:Have you just got a problem with every country other than England?SpaceCruiser wrote:With the Southend manager tipping Cardiff to win the Championship, it looks possible that we may see Cardiff in the Premiership next season. I have no problems with Wales. I like them as a country. I even had Welsh grandparents.
How long have Cardiff been playing in an English league?SpaceCruiser wrote:It's the ENGLISH Premiership. I could understand it if the Welsh had no league of their own, but they do.....
Its of non-league standard.I could understand it if the Welsh had no league of their own
Or to put it another way, you're half welsh.SpaceCruiser wrote: I have no problems with Wales. I like them as a country. I even had Welsh grandparents.
