AST payments + Everton ticket update

I don't know if anyone noticed, but for Everton the OS placed a small not in the away tickets section naming the date when cash would be taken from accounts. I hope this continues for the foreseeable as it makes it a little easier for people to plan their money

On a secondary note, I notice that for Everton there are two price levels of £31 (which I presume are the better upper tier seats) and £28 (which are for the bottom tier). My ticket states Row 5 which is lower tier and the cheaper option, I was under the impression and had it confirmed by RFC that AST holders would always be charged the upper price for the better seats. Knowing the stand we will be placed in, I sincerely hope that other AST holders are no more than ten rows from the front, or you might end up with a severely restricted view

I think the polict is that the AST holders get the seats (and the price band) which the away club tells them to sell first.

Interesting. So by all rights, those with the lower points scheme will end up with the better tickets if we need the section in the Upper Tier? That doesn't seem right

Maybe, but they have to sell tickets in the order that the home clubs tells them, and they sell to ASt holders first, so it's luck of the draw.

Funny how it works then as Chelsea sold the most expensive and better positioned seats first. I suppose it is horses for courses.

Still, those in the older section of the lower tier at Goodison really are in for a treat. Think Kennilworth Road.

Has anyone here bought a ticket in the Upper Tier? Would give a good impression of how sales have gone if we are into these.

I queried this with the Ticket Office. They said that the initial allocation consisted only of Lower Tier Tickets so they have had to send Lower Tier Tickets to ASTs. Upper Tier Tickets will only be available if we sell the initial allocation. As the tickets are selling slowly they thought this unlikely.

Would be interested to know if any Non ASTs have been sold upper tier tickets.

Is everyone in LV1 and LV2 or are some in LV3 and LV4? I think LV3 and LV4 are in front of the pillars.

From the looks of Ben above you, he has a ticket in the older obscured area as his is a lettered row. Mine and PieEaters AST seats are in the newer bit at the front and have numbered rows.

Will we really struggle to sell over 1800 tickets? The points required is down to 201 tomorrow, which is not many and then takes another jump on Monday.

Not a chance. Our away following's up in the North West this season haven't been great with 2 exceptions (Man Utd & Liverpool).

On Sky and with lack of public transport, I'll be surprised if anything more than 1,500 make the trip.

For me anyway, Everton was a must do as I haven't been to Goodison, Reebok, Riverside and Emirates.

I'm not an AST and I got mine in LV3, Row 5 - originally I was worried that the view might be shit but I'm quite chuffed now.
