Quite. Especially as the behaviour of Reading supporters away from home is always exemplary. There was hardly going to be a pitch invasion such as we saw from Chelsea morons back in October.doylefan wrote:couldnt believe that they shopped hunt throwing his shirt in the crowd - what is the point???? its not as if its going to hurt anyone???
Maybe theres a sharp edge on the stitching of hunts badge.doylefan wrote:they stopped marcus too at one point but he got around them

Seemed to remember that di*khead of a steward reprted Hahnemann too.percy freeman fanclub wrote:For those of you who were at Bramall lane this season,USA was likewise prohibited frpm throwing his shirt. Yet another display of mindless thuggery on Hunt's part. Could have someone's eye out.M0J0 wrote:stewards... prevented Stephen Hunt throwing his shirt into the fans.

I'd like to counter that argument. I thought the stewarding and policing at Citeh was at best heavy handed. There were three or four supporters around me that had to endure constant swearing/signalling and abuse from the Citeh fans to the left of our contingent. Yes, I appreciate the fact that people should not rise to this but it was only addressed in a minority by the staff their side of the netting.Skin wrote:FFS Compared to our stewards they were tolorent, polite and showed yet another example of how stewards can work in harmony with fans that stand.
