I much prefer the commentary on BBC Berkshire, however I must agree with you about the crowd noise. It sounds like there are 1000 supporters in the crowd. I switched between 107 and BBC berkshire during the Newcastle game. Much better atmosphere with 107 as the crowd noise is highly audiable.Boomer wrote:Dear BBCRB can you explain how you manage to remove the sound of the crowd from all of your broadcasts? It makes the commentary sound flat and lifeless.
Switching to 107FM as I have done the background noise and obvious passion of the commentators makes for a much more enjoyable experience.
I think you've really lost a lead on 107 this season (last year you were no better but they were far worse). Isn't it time you did something about it?
Are you suggesting Tim and Joel don't have passion? I'd say their knowledge and support is good.Boomer wrote:Dear BBCRB can you explain how you manage to remove the sound of the crowd from all of your broadcasts? It makes the commentary sound flat and lifeless.
